BALANCE:
The balance is due 2 weeks prior to day of pick up, by post-dated
cheque, cash, Interac Email Money Transfer,
or PayPal.
For International Monetary Exchange bookings the balance
is due 4 weeks prior to your arrival by post-dated cheque,
PayPal, or International Money Order.
The owners reserve the right to cancel the booking if payment
is not received by these dates.

REFUNDABLE SECURITY / DAMAGE DEPOSIT:
All
trailer rentals require a security damage deposit of $500
cash or by Interac Email Money Transfer on the day of pick
up. Alternately by cheque two weeks prior to pick up. International
Monetary Exchange by post–dated cheque, PayPal,
or International Money Order four weeks prior to day of
pick up. The
deposit will be returned to you after our final inspection,
provided no
damage has been caused.
DRIVERS:
Drivers
must be 25 years of age or older and have held a driving
license for at least 8 years.(insurance requirement).
Please
check with your insurance company prior to booking that
you are rated at least a 4 star.
Drivers must have an insurance check done by our insurance
company within 4 weeks prior to the rental period. Should
the insurance be declined by them, our cancellation policy
below will apply. However should we manage to rebook the
trailer for the same period then we will endeavour to refund
the difference.
CANCELLATION:
Any cancellation of a booking is subject to the following
cancellation charges:
More than 8 weeks prior to day of pick up - $20 administration
fee.
Between 2 and 8 weeks prior to day of pick up - 50% of the
total rental cost.
Less than 2 weeks prior to day of pick up 100% of the total
rental and insurance cost.
A
full refund, less an administration fee of $20, will be
issued if we are able to re book the trailer for the same
time period.
You will be responsible for the cancellation of campsite
bookings, and recouping fees paid to them.
Should an incident or accident occur to the trailer prior
to your rental period we will endeavour to repair or replace
the trailer if at all possible, providing time constraints
allow. Should this become impossible
we can only be held liable to refund you the full cost of
your rental.
TOWING.
All renters intending to tow the trailer must be 25 years
of age or older and held a driving license for 8 years.
Approval to tow this unit must be given by our insurance
company. All drivers who will be towing the trailer must
supply a valid drivers licence number
which will be verified by our insurance company approximately
4 weeks prior to the rental. Physical damage Insurance must
be purchased at $6 per day (e.g. 3 nights rental constitutes
4 days, 5 nights rental constitutes 6 days etc). The Insurance
fee paid covers physical damage caused accidentally. The
insurance policy has a damage deductible of $500. The security
deposit will be applied against this deductible in the event
of an insurance claim.
Intentional damage or neglect on your part will not be covered
by the insurance policy and you will be held liable to cover
these costs.
All
electrical wiring must be in good working order. It is your
responsibility to verify that the electrical system on the
towing vehicle is compatible with the trailer. A 7 pin round
connector is required. We will provide a 4 pin / or 6 pin
adapter but cannot guarantee its compatibility. If unsure
please arrange a convenient time to both parties to have
the wiring checked. We cannot be held responsible if on
day of the rental pick up, your wiring will not work. Under
these circumstances there will be no refund, and the rental
unit will not be allowed to be towed until the wiring situation
is corrected.
This unit may be towed anywhere in Ontario. Towing outside
of the province of Ontario or into the USA must have prior
approval from TrailerTent.ca and our Insurance Company.
This unit may be towed on Highway 407 providing we are informed
of this fact immediately on return of the trailer. Any toll
fees charged, will be taken from the security deposit.
In
the event that the trailer is involved in an accident we
must be contacted immediately and informed of the details.
Police should be contacted as per the rules of the road.

TRAILER PICKUP/DROP OFF:
Trailer pickup will be after 8 a.m. (unless otherwise arranged)
. The camper must be returned no later than 5 p.m.
A
late charge of $20 per hour, will be applied against
the security deposit if the trailer is returned late. Please
call if you are running late. The late fee may be waived
if the trailer is not reserved immediately following your
booking.
All
rentals are contracted for a time period. There are no refunds
in the event of an early return.
CLEANING:
The camper will be cleaned before and after your use.
Although the camper will be cleaned after its return please
leave it in an orderly state. Unnecessary cleaning of the
camper will be subject to a cleaning fee which will be taken
from the security deposit. There is a strict no smoking
and no pets policy. If cleaning is required due to smoke
or pets it will be taken from the damage deposit.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY:
Please treat the trailer; it's furniture, fittings, utensils
and other facilities with respect. We pride ourselves in
providing a clean and well kept
camper. We understand that accidents do sometimes happen
and we hope that you will inform us of any such incident
in order that the damaged camper may be repaired or replaced
for the next customer. The cost to
repair any such damage will be taken from the security deposit.
The camper must not be used for anything other than accommodation.
Large social gatherings, parties or the like are strictly
forbidden.
Camp fires are restricted to the fire pits provided by the
campsite. The camper, awning, and any related equipment,
should not be located too close to the fire pit. The fire
should be maintained so that it cannot cause damage to any
of the afore mentioned equipment, either by heat, embers
or sparks.

OPTIONAL
FULL SERVICE DELIVERY
CAMPSITE:
The Camp site will be chosen by you and it will have its
own booking and cancellation policy. We cannot be held responsible
with them for any reason regarding the booking of our camper
and any related equipment.
It is our responsibility to deliver and set up the Tent
Trailer on the camp site of your choosing. This will be
done with regards to the rules of the camp site. Sufficient
notice has to be given to us as to the location of the camp
site, proof of payment or deposit for the camp site or reservation
number. We will then make arrangements with the camp site
to
enter on the date of arrival to set up the camper and any
related equipment. Some campsites have rules regarding the
size and location of the campers and although we have not
had any problems in the past we cannot guarantee that out
camper will fit on all camp sites. It is your responsibility
to ensure that the camper is allowed before making any booking
on their site. We will try to assist you in this matter
also.
ARRIVAL/ DEPARTURE:
Arrival at the campsite (unless otherwise advised) should
be after 4.00 pm local time. The camper must be vacated
by 11.00 am on the day of departure. Although the camper
will be cleaned after your departure, please leave it in
an orderly state. Unnecessary cleaning of the camper, or
campsite, will be subject to a cleaning fee which will be
taken from the security deposit.
It
is your responsibility to abide by the rules of the campsite
re a clean camp area.
PARTIES
TO THE CONTRACT:
Contract is between the property owners and the party leader
accepting the conditions on behalf of all persons using
the camper, including those substituted or added by agreed
amendment of the booking.
A contract exists when you have paid a deposit and we have
accepted and confirmed your booking and we have received
a signed copy of this document.
The applicant accepts these conditions on behalf of all
the members of the party.
The maximum number of guests in the camper is six (6) with
the condition that all persons sleep in the beds provided.

FORCE
MAJEURE:
The owners of the property or their servants or agents will
not be liable for loss or delay occasioned by any of the
following: Strikes, Riots, Political Unrest, Hostilities,
War, or threat of War, Terrorist Activity,
Closure of Airports, weather, road closures, or any other
event beyond the owners control .
